- by plane – from “ Pôle Caraïbes “ airport ( next to Pointe à Pitre ), or from “ Saint-François “ local airport ( east of Guadeloupe Island, the nearest from “ La Desirade “ island ).

If your plane lands before 14.00 h, you will be able to catch the second shuttle boat if you go straight to “ Saint-François “. Otherwise, you may have to spend the night on the mainland before catching the morning boat shuttle.
